Arbeidsflyt i kommersiell musikkproduksjon - Hvordan utvikle kvalitet gjennom arbeidsflyt

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgaven gjør en kvantitativ studie med fokus på hvordan ha en arbeidsflyt som legger vekt på videreutvikling av kvalitet. Gjennom en spørreundersøkelse, kobles svarene til profesjonelle og hobbyprodusenter sammen med forfatterens egne funn og egne prosjekter. Underordnet, ser oppgaven også på hvordan arbeid i team og skrivesperre vil påvirke arbeidsflyt og kvalitet. Funnene viser at det er vanskelig å si hva som er rett og galt, men konkluderer med at etablering av et estetisk konsept vil være ønskelig for å skape en god arbeidsflyt. Jo tidligere det blir etablert et estetisk konsept til prosjektet, jo enklere er det å skape en arbeidsflyt som tar utgangspunkt i dette.

This bachelor thesis is based on a quantitative study focusing on how to establish a workflow that contributes to further development of own skill and a song’s quality. The author’s own findings and projects are compared with the thoughts from other professional and amateur producers regarding workflow. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the impact of working in teams, deadlines, and writer’s block, and how it impacts workflow and quality. The findings do not conclude that a specific workflow is either right or wrong but found that the establishment of an aesthetic concept early in the writing process is good for the workflow. The earlier an aesthetic concept is developed, the easier it is to find the relevant workflow to fit the project.
