Nordiske populistiske høyreradikale partiers holdninger til EU

Abstract

Denne oppgaven utforsker om populistiske høyreradikale partier i Norden preges av like holdninger til EU. Den foretar en analyse av fire nordiske populistiske høyreradikale partier sine partiprogram: Sverigedemokraterna, Sannfinnene, Dansk Folkeparti, og Fremskrittspartiet. Cas Muddes teori blir brukt for å undersøke hvilke holdninger som finnes blant partiene. Videre diskuteres likheter og forskjeller i partienes holdninger til EU. Oppgaven konkluderer med at de fire partiene er Euroskeptiske, og at de har like holdninger til EU.

This thesis explores whether populist right-wing parties in the Nordic countries are characterized by similar attitudes to the EU. It performs an analysis of four Nordic populist right-wing parties' party programs: the Sweden Democrats, the True Finns, the Danish People's Party, and the Progress Party. Cas Mudde's theory is used to examine the attitudes of the parties. Furthermore, similarities and differences are discussed in the parties' attitudes to the EU. The thesis concludes that the four parties are Euroskeptic and that they have equal attitudes to the EU.
