dc.description.abstract | I vår tid opplever organisasjoner store endringer i prosesser og struktur gjennom at ny
teknologi blir tatt i bruk i deres arbeid.
I tillegg
arbeid i norske bedrifter og tilrettelegger for samarbeid mellom menneske og maskin;
dc.description.abstract | In our time, organizations are experiencing major changes in processes and structure
through the use of new technology in their work. This will change how the organization
does its tasks and how they organize their work. Artificial intelligence is a technology often
associated with such changes with disruptive consequences for work. Based on this, this
thesis addresses how artificial intelligence affects work in Norwegian organizations and
how employees in Norwegian organizations relate to this. The problem is looked at based
on theories of digitalization, artificial intelligence, technology acceptance and resistance to
organizational change.
The thesis is based on a quantitative study in the form of a survey of Norwegian employees.
The survey is partly based on a survey by PwC (2017) that maps the views on the future
of work of 10 000 worker. In addition to the this, I have conducted an qualitative study in
the form of interviews with two people in Norwegian companies. Both studies were
conducted to be able to say something about how artificial intelligence affects work in
Norwegian companies, and attitudes toward the technology.
The studies find that artificial intelligence: is used as an efficiency tool; changes work in
Norwegian companies and facilitates cooperation between man and machine; creates
challenges for Norwegian companies related to capacity, security, and resistance to
change. Another finding from the studies is that the Norwegian in general workforce has
positive attitudes to artificial intelligence and technological development. | en |
