Utøvelse av endringsledelse i forbindelse med digitalisering av havbruksbransjen

Abstract

Havbruksbransjen er en næring med et enormt fremtidig inntjeningspotensiale, som siktes etter å femdobles innen år 2050. For at næringen skal makte å nå denne visjonen må havbruksbransjen trolig digitaliseres. Håndtering og reduksjon av motstand i denne forbindelse vil være avgjørende for suksess, og det er her endringsledelse kommer inn i bildet. Denne oppgaven skal fremstille gode generelle føringer og retningslinjer for endringsledelse i havbruksnæringen, og har som overordnet mål å bistå til en økt sannsynlighet for suksess i forbindelse med den kommende digitaliseringen.

For å danne et best mulig grunnlag for å evne svare på problemstillingen utover litteratursøk, har vi tatt i bruk kvalitativ forskningsmetode i form av et semistrukturert dybdeintervju, i tillegg til å ta del i en omvisningstur på et oppdrettsanlegg. Et mønster av bransjen begynte etterhvert å danne seg, som ga oss et godt grunnlag for å besvare problemstillingen.

Aquaculture is an industry with a great future income potential, which aims to expand by five times its current size, within the year of 2050. To be able to achieve this vision, the industry will be facing a presumable digital transformation. Managing and reducing resistance in this regard is crucial to success, and is where the theory and practice of change management comes into the picture. This bachelor thesis is intended to give direction and produce general guidelines for change management in the aquaculture industry, which aims to help increase the likelihood of a successful digitization in the future.

In addition to conducting a literature review, in order to answer the thesis question to our highest ability, we applied qualitative research methods in the form of a semi-structured in-depth interview, as well as taking part in a guided tour of a fish farm. After a while, we started to develop a good understanding of the industry, ready to approach the thesis question with confidence.
