dc.description.abstract | Abstract
Through its holistic approach, this thesis aims to describe the link between neo-liberalism, creativity and society. It offers a critical view on the power of the music industry, examining the cause / effect between the media’s ethical choices and the outcomes in the mechanisms of capitalism. Furthermore it offers a take on the connections between the ideals of pop music, and the development of creativity. With the use of the entertainment industrys MGPjr this thesis seeks to examplify how neo-liberalism has a direct impact on both society, indivduals and their identity, as well as the ecology.
