By conducting this study, we aim to contribute to an increased understanding of Manufacturing Cost Deployment and its potential role in decision making. The inquiry includes a case study in Norsk Hydro, following a design science research approach. Empirical findings will be discussed, both in the context of the case company, and in relation to relevant literature. The data gathered for this thesis has been obtained by extracting operational data, conducting interviews, and direct observations. The end result of this thesis is a roadmap for how to apply manufacturing cost deployment in a process industry context.en
