With the development of communication technology, every industry has changed lot. This trend becomes more obvious in the age of smartphone and mobile internet. As for the medical industry, hospitals are facing new challenges with the growing number of smartphone users and also their willingness to complete all activities on the smartphone. Some medical institutions are trying to design and develop new Information Technology(IT) systems to meet these emerging needs. Some hospitals, instead of developing by their own, are integrating products from other vendors to embrace this new trend. Xiangya Hospital, co-founded in 1906 by the Chinese government and Yale-China Association at Yale University of the United States and enjoying the title Best Hospital In Southern China[21], has promoted the vision of migrating existing services to the mobile platforms to provide a better mobility experience. In addition, this hospital is also seeking to build up a new approach to connect patients and doctors. However, no vendors can provide a complete mobility solution for Xiangya Hospital currently. In this master thesis, a demo system will be designed and implemented to explore what problems will be met and how to solve these problems to achieve the mobility experience. The existing functionalities, like registration and taking clinic results, which is currently achieved with the assistance of workers, can be wrapped as Representational State Transfer (REST)ful interfaces. These interfaces can be called by mobile apps, which basically describe the business flow of affiliated hospitals. An app container will be chosen to load the apps dynamically. The existing services then are mobilized and used based on the position. New services like medical record management, mobile payment will be integrated into this demo system alone with the app container. iBeacon, which is basically a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) tag, will be used to connect the physical world and software system. In order to implement the demo system, different cross platform development tools will be studied and finally a tool called Mash5 is selected for the development. The demo system is finally achieved and an evaluation is also made to evaluate the completeness.en
