dc.description.abstract | Wireless network is defined as any type of computer network that establishes wireless data connectivity for communication among network nodes. Network topology refers to the arrangement of various network components to receive and transmit packets in the networks. Mesh topology refers to the network where devices are connected with each other so that every node sends and receives data to all other nodes in the network .Trickle and Simple broadcast algorithm can be used in mesh network to broadcast data packets . The supported bandwidth of the mesh network depends upon the types of algorithm used in this network.
The main objective of this thesis is to find the supported bandwidth of the mesh network with trickle and simple broadcast algorithm to transmit voice packet. To test these two algorithms , new application and routing agent are designed separately for Trickle and Simple Broadcast algorithms for the mesh network by NS2 (Network Simulator) . This challenge is addressed in this thesis work and solved with satisfactory results .
The supported bandwidth information for the mesh network to broadcast voice is used by implementing the voice encoder and decoder on nRF52 series microprocessor designed by Nordic Semiconductor ASA . | en |
