Abstract
Investigate how Industry 4.0 and maintenance are related and describe how Maintenance 4.0 and Predictive maintenance are relevant. Compare the companies Equinor and Hydro in the way of developing solutions for Predictive maintenance and digital maintenance solutions. Discuss the prerequisites for successfully implement Predictive maintenance and run a case to test Statoil's way of implementation. Create a guide for how to implement by combining the prerequisites and the implementation guide from Equinor and attitudes at Hydro.
