Sammendrag
In this paper I am going to investigate how the governance between NTNU and Trondheim municipality is working by using qualitative document analysis for phase two of the campus development in Trondheim. I also want to investigate which theoretical perspective of governance is explaining the relationship between NTNU and Trondheim municipality. First I present some information about NTNU and Trondheim municipality. Then I present the governance as the theory I am using to analyze the documents, and it’s called governance. The method I am going to use is a qualitative document analyzes, where I am analyzing documents from both NTNU and Trondheim municipality. The analyze part I will test theory up against the documents that I used, to see if I found anything that could tell me about the governance between NTNU and Trondheim municipality. Afterwards I am looking at what perspective of governance that could explain the relationship between Trondheim municipality and NTNU. I am focusing on three variables: Goal, communication and trust. My conclusion is that the perspective of governance that explains best how these independent variables is affected, is in the light of “partnerskap” or “nettverkstyring”.
