Equator Aircraft Norway has constructed a prototype of a hybrid amphibious light aircraft. Their current prototype's controlsystem is based off of an aileron and flap solution. The purpose of this thesis is to simplify the current generation's aileron and flap solution. EAN's ambitions is to develop a flaperon based solution. This solution combines the functions of the aileron and flap, to control the Angle of Attack, whilst reducing the number of moving surfaces. This thesis contains development of several concepts. These concepts are designed and analysed in SolidWorks. In cooperation with the company, a list of user requirement specification is developed, and the concepts are compared to eachother. From the comparison, one single concept is chosen to be further developed. The results of these analysises and the hand calculations, lay the foundation of the discussion in this thesis. The thesis will conclude the research problem and discuss in which degree the thesis achieved its goals.
