Det fremkommer to tydelige tendenser i rapporten.
In this report the support systems suitable for apartment blocks with underground parking garage are compared. The purpose is to map typical tendencies in support systems which are beneficial for the utilization of parking space and the building of foundations. The examination is conducted as the final thesis in the program of Civil Engineering, Construction, at the NTNU in Gjøvik and is commissioned by Sweco. The examination is based on boulding Stage 3 of Mjøsparken in Ringsaker municipality. It compares the following three support systems: (i) glued laminated timber beam and column systems with floor of Trä8, (ii) horizontal and vertical disc structures of cross laminated wood, and (iii) beam and column system of steel with prefabricated concrete slabs. The underlying method of the report is chiefly a quantitative analysis consisting of calculations and the evaluation of these. The report deals with a large range of validity, where the various loads will provide a number of quantitative and comparable data. For designing, simulation, calculation and modeling, the following programs have been used: Focus Konstruksjon, Maple, E-bjelke, BT-snitt, Lastberegning and Revit. Based on the findings of the analysis in the report, it is concluded that a disc structure of cross-laminated wood is the support system that provides the favorable sizes of foundation and the best utilization of underground parking space. The report shows that typical tendencies are that: (i) the line loads from discs create an improved clearance for designing support systems in underground parking, and that (ii) when designing this type of combination buildings, the utilization of parking basements should be taken into account in the early designing phase – preferably when determining the axis system for load-bearing walls in the residential building.
