Mangelen på opplæring i lys på en generell drama og teater utdanning hos NTNU

Abstract

Sammendrag

Hensikt: Hensikten med denne oppgaven er og se på hvor bredt lysfaget er, og se det opp imot mangelen på undervisning i faget på Drama og Teater på NTNU

Metode: Oppgaven er oppbygd av en historisk kontekst rundt lysfaget, design aspektet rundt lysfaget og det tekniske rundt lysfaget. Det bygges på bøker som inneholder historien til lys i teateret, instruksjonsbøker i forhold til design og det tekniske når det kommer til lys.

Konklusjon: Konklusjonen jeg har fått ut ifra min utforskning av lysfaget er at man ved en bredere opplæring i faget kan gå mer forberedt ut i arbeidslivet innen drama og teater, hvor man da kan samarbeide bedre med blant annet lysdesignere og teknikere. Dette med tanke på at utdanningen ved Drama og teater hos NTNU er en generell utdanning innen drama og teater og ikke en utdanning som har fokus på en retning innen drama og teater

Summary

Aim: The aim of this text is to look at the width of the lighting subject, and look at it compared to the lack of education in this subject in Drama and theatre at NTNU

Method: This text is built up using the history surrounding lighting in theatre, the design aspect of using lights in the theatre, and the technical surrounding lights in the theatre. The relevant texts, articles and books I have used have been mostly in history of lights in theatre, instruction books on how to design lights in the theatre, and technical manuals on lights.

Conclusion: The conclusion I have gotten by doing this research into lighting is that with a wider education within the lighting subject you can go out into the working life of the theatre more prepared. And by being more prepared you can work better with others in the theatre who have tasks that might not relate to your own. And especially considering that the education you get at Drama and Theatre at NTNU is not an education that specializes you in one direction of the theatre it is necessary to have a broader understanding of how the theatre works.
