Superheltfortellingens vei til identitetsutvikling

Abstract

Denne oppgaven inneholder forskning om bruken av litteratur i skolen, og hvordan spesielt fantastisk litteratur kan være en identitetsutviklende byggestein i elevenes utvikling. Dette kobles spesifikt til hvilke intertekstuelle uttrykk som kommer fram i barneboken Brune (2013) av Håkon Øvreås. Begrepene identitet og intertekstualitet er viktig i denne oppgaven, siden de legger rammene for analysen. Norskfagets tradisjon og ulike litteraturtradisjoner som belyser superheltmotivet fremmes i analysen og tas med videre til en drøftingsdel av barneboken. Analysen fokuserer hovedsakelig på hvordan vi kan knytte superheltene i Brune (2013) opp mot andre kjente superheltskikkelser og hvordan superheltenes handlinger kan virke identitetsutviklende. De mest sentrale funnene i denne oppgaven er blant annet at heltene er barn; to gutter og ei jente, de gjennomgår en indre utvikling og de tar hevn. Dette tas med i en drøftingsdel som diskuterer det didaktiske potensialet til boken, der undervisningsmetoder med litterær samtale og leseteater blir vektlagt.

This task includes research of the use of literature in school and how fantastic literature can develop students´ identity. This will specifically be used to find intertextual expressions in the children’s book Brune (2013) written by Håkon Øvreås. The terms identity and intertextuality will play an important part here, since they function as the “framework” of this task. The tradition of the Norwegian School Subject and various literature traditions, which enlightens the superhero motive, will be connected to the analysis of the book and further discussed about its didactical potential. The analyze is mainly focusing on how we can recognize stories of other superheroes in this book and how the superheroes’ actions in Brune can contribute to develop children’s identity. The findings of the analyze is e.g. the superheroes are children; two boys and a girl who goes through an inner development and take revenge. This will be included in a discussion of the didactic potential of the book, where teaching methods including “literary talk” and “reading theatre” will be emphasized.
