Litterær kanon og dannelse i den offentlige debatten rundt Fagfornyelsen

Abstract

I denne bacheloroppgaven har jeg fordypet meg i den offentlige debatten rundt litterær kanon, og den valgte problemstillingen er; hvordan diskuteres kanon og danning i forbindelse med Fagfornyelsen i den offentlige debatten. For å kunne svare på problemstillingen har jeg utført en idéanalyse av tre kronikker, som jeg mener kan representerer debatten som helhet. Det har vært hensiktsmessig å sette seg inn i hvem som har skrevet de ulike kronikkene, og hvordan disse forfatterne posisjonerer seg i debatten rundt litterær kanon i norskfaget. Analysen av de tre kronikkene er forankret i teori om dannelse og historie om den litterære kanon. Samtidig knyttes argumentasjonen i de ulike kronikkene opp mot tidligere forestillinger om hvorfor litterær kanon bør eller ikke bør være en del av norskundervisningen.

In this bachelor thesis I immerse in the public debate about literary canon, and the thesis question is; in which way is canon and education discussed in the public debate connetcted to the new curriculum Fagfornyelsen. To be able to answer this thesis question I have analyzed three chronicles about the new curriculum through an idea analysis. It has been essential to put the chronicles into a context, by examine who has written them and how these authors relate to the debate in general. The analysis is based on theory about education and the history of the literary canon. In addition to this the argumentation in the chronicles will be compared to former perceptions about literary canon, and whether it should be a part of the Norwegian curriculum or not.
