Arbeid med meningslogikk og lek

Abstract

I denne oppgaven vil jeg analysere hvordan meningslogikken i Alice i Eventyrland kommer til uttrykk i teksten. Teorigrunnlaget for oppgaven vil være Gilles Deleuze (2017) sin bok Meningens Logik, samt teori som omhandler lek og den litterære sjangeren nonsens. Analysen av Alice i Eventyrland vil bli gjort ved «å tenke med Deleuze» som metode. Denne metoden belyser meningslogikk ved å trekke det opp mot Gilles Deleuze sin teori, som bygger på 34 serier der hver serie skaper en teori om meningen. Analysen vil bli trukket opp mot to sentrale begrep i Deleuze sin teori, «det ideale spill» og «utsagnet», og funnene av serier vil bli kategorisert og analysert under nevnte begrep. I drøftingsdelen av oppgaven vil jeg se på hvordan meningslogikken i Alice i Eventyrland kan forstås som lek, ved å knytte det opp mot Kjetil Steinsholt sin teori om lek som ikke-funksjonell virksomhet. Videre vil jeg avslutningsvis i oppgaven drøfte hvilket didaktisk potensial som ligger i arbeid med meningslogikk og lek.

In this thesis I will analyse how the logic of sense in Alice in Wonderland is expressed in the text. The theoretical basis for the thesis will be Gilles Deleuze (2017) and his book Logic of Sense, as well as relevant theory regarding play and the literary genre nonsense. The analysis of Alice in Wonderland will be done by "thinking with Deleuze" as a method. This method illuminates the logic of sense in light of Gilles Deleuze's theory, which is based on 34 series where each series creates a theory of meaning. The analysis will be drawn to two key concepts in Deleuze's theory, "the ideal game" and "the statement", and the findings will be categorized and analysed within these terms. In the discussion section of the thesis I will look at how the logic of sense in Alice in Wonderland can be understood as play, by linking it to Kjetil Steinsholt's theory of play as non-functional business. In the end of the thesis I will discuss what didactic potential lies in work with meaning logic and play.
