Abstract

Hos oss mennesker er engasjement essensielt for at vi skal skape interesser og lære nye ting. Vi blir stadig påvirket av andre mennesker for å opparbeide nye egenskaper, enten det gjelder innen idrett eller på skolebenken. Engasjementet til personene du deler situasjonen med vil være avgjørende for hvilken innstilling du legger i læringsprosessen. Med en ivrig, engasjert trener vil engasjementet smitte over og tankene omstilt til at læringsprosessen blir interessant og spennende. Med en lærer med interesse for faget vil det øke sjansen betraktelig for å skape en gnist og vekke interessen hos elevene. Oppstarten av en time er avgjørende for hvordan timen vil utspille seg. Ved å kapre elevenes engasjement tidlig, vil elevene ha en større motivasjon under skriveprosessen. For å bevise dette har jeg undersøkt hvordan introduksjonen av en skriveoppgave påvirker elevenes arbeid med oppgaven. To klasser fikk samme skriveoppgaven der de skulle beskrive et selvvalgt dyr. I første klassen fikk eleven utdelt oppgaven med en kort introduksjon og begynte å skrive. I den andre klassen hadde kontaktlæreren en halvtimes introduksjon for å prøve å vekke elevenes engasjement etter beste evne. Deretter har jeg sett på hvordan introduksjonen påvirket elevenes arbeid med skriveoppgaven, med fokus på motivasjonsteori og målorientering. Etter å ha samlet inn oppgavene var det betydelige lengre og mer selvstendige tekster hos klassen som fikk en lengre og mer fyldig introduksjon. Vi ser derfor at introduksjonen har en stor betydning for skriveprosessen hos elevene. Bacheloren viser hvordan jeg har gått frem i forskningen og hvordan jeg har valgt å legge frem resultatet.

For us humans, enthusiasm is essential to make new interests and learn new abilities. Everyday we get influenced by other people to learn how to master new abilities, either in the field as an athlete or at school. The enthusiasm to the people you share the moment with is crucial for your motivation facing the learning process. With an excited and enthusiated coach, you are more likely to get affected by his or her mindset, and this will help you face the a task with a greater interest. Along a teacher with passion for the subject, the chance will get higher to forge an interest by the students. The opening of a class is crucial for the coming outplay in the classroom. By catching the students attention and enthusiasm early on, they are more likely to get motivated. To prove this, I made a research on an introductions affection on students work with a writing task. In the research, two third-classes recived a task of writing a nonfiction about an animal they chose by them self. One class got an introduction consisting of a short suming of what a nonfiction is. The other class had half an hour long introduction of the task. Here, the teacher tried to enthusiasm and engage the students as much as she could. The goal with the research was to evaluate how an introduction has affection on the students work with a writing task, with a focus on motivation-theory. After receiving the final work, it was clear that the students in the class with the long introduction wrote longer and more independent texts compared with the class with a minimal of an introduction.
