Tilpasset opplæring for skoleflinke elever med høyt akademisk potensiale

Abstract

I denne oppgaven har jeg forsket på tilpasset opplæring i matematikk for skoleflinke elever med høyt akademisk potensiale. Jeg har gjennomført kvalitative intervju av to skoleflinke elever med høyt akademisk potensiale i niende klasse, jeg var interessert i hvordan de oppfatter tilpasset opplæring. Jeg intervjuet også deres matematikklærer om vektlegging av tilpasset opplæring for denne elevgruppen, og hvordan læreren disponerer tiden i klasserommet. Videre ser jeg på resultatene fra intervjuet opp mot relevant teori om tilpasset opplæring, motivasjon og teori om skoleflinke elever med høyt akademisk potensiale. I drøftingen ligger hovedfokuset på møtet mellom elevene og læreren, og deres oppfatninger rundt temaet tilpasset opplæring. Det interessante her er å se om det er samsvar mellom lærerens utføring av tilpasset opplæring og i hvor stor grad de to skoleflinke elevene med høyt akademisk potensiale oppfatter at de får tilpasset opplæring.

In this bachelor thesis, I have researched adapted education in mathematics for students with high academic potential in mathematics. I have conducted qualitative interview method of two students with high academic potential in the ninth grade. I was interested in how they perceived the adapted education. I also conducted an interview with their mathematics teacher about how he weighted adapted education for this type of students, and how the teacher disposes of his time in the classroom. Then I looked at the results from the interviews in light of relevant theory regarding adapted education, motivation and students with high academic potential. In the discussion of the thesis, I am manly focusing on the interaction between the students and the teacher. In addition, how the perception of adapted education is within the three individuals.
