We define and study the so-called C*-crossed product construction, primarily from the point of view of C*-dynamical systems, but we will also look at how crossed products (by commutative C*-algebras) arise as C*-algebras associated to groupoids. Examples will be given, in addition to taking a brief look at some results that may help with determination of the K-theory of crossed products by specific groups.nb_NO
