dc.description.abstract | The thesis project was about testing of polymers used in the interiors of the cars - ABS and PC/ABS for resistance to cracking due to environmental stress conditions. This includes testing cracking/crazing of the materials when the stress is applied on the material (below yield point) and the materials are exposed to different chemicals and at different temperature levels. The thesis was performed at Volvo Car Corporation, Sweden. | |
