dc.description.abstract | A framework for JIT compilation that specifically caters to the resource constraints of new generations of small devices is presented. Preliminary results obtained from a prototype implementation show average speedup of 5.5 over a conventional interpreter-based Java implementation, with only a 15% increase in the static memory footprint and an adjustable, highly predictable dynamic footprint. | nb_NO |
