dc.description.abstract | In the software industry today, we have many techniques to help us model the system before we start the implementation. As we describe later in this chapter, software quality attributes gives the architects the possibility to focus their attention to certain aspects most important to that specific system. By this we mean that e.g. a system that will run some hospital equipment, the architects could focus most of their attention on the quality attribute called availability. This means the equipment should not fail, and be running and operational almost no matter what happens. But does the focus on software quality attributes in the modeling and requirement specification phase actually translate into the documentation and implementation of the architecture? This is what we will research in this master thesis. Can we find a systematic way to discover the relationship between software quality attribute(s) in documentation pre-implementation, and in the implementation itself. | nb_NO |
