Nøkkelord: tverrprofesjonell samarbeidslæring, makt, ansvar Medical and nurse students who have practice at Førde Central Hospital are working in interprofessional teams. The students plan and implement care and treatment for a patient with unclear/complex conditions, and are supervised by a responsible nurse and physician. Analyse of three focus group interviews showed that the interprofessional collaborative learning can contribute to students experiencing each other as equal partners and that they complement each other in their work with the patients. Although the students had a different history and academic past, they did not experience any differences in the power relationships within the team. They worked independent, were given responsibility, something that gave them a sense of achievement. They also felt safer about the work tasks of the other profession. The Førde model may be a relevant organization of interprofessional practice for other area of the health and social services.nb_NO
