dc.description.abstractMasteroppgaven Sirkunstneren –Sirkunstundervisning i det kulturskolerelaterte feltet, har til hensikt å undersøke hvordan sirkuslærerne praktiserer sitt yrke og hvordan de beskriver sin praksis og sitt fagområde. Problemstillingen er: Hvordan praktiserer og hvordan beskriver to sirkuslærere sitt virke som lærer i det kulturskolerelaterte feltet? Studien tar utgangspunkt i to sirkuslæreres praksis i kulturskole og en privat sirkusforening og retter innledningsvis søkelyset på utviklingen av sirkus som pedagogisk praksis i Norge. Masteroppgaven bygger på empirisk materiale generert gjennom observasjon av undervisning, plan for undervisning, intervju, loggskriving og forskningsdeltagernes skrevne beskrivelse av sin yrkespraksis. Med bakgrunn i en refleksiv metodologi har studiens forskningsdeltagere vært nært deltagende gjennom hele prosessen og har bidratt i studien fra begynnelsen til ferdigstilling av oppgaven. Studien har sitt utgangspunkt i et sosiokulturelt læringsperspektiv. Den teoretiske referanserammen er utviklet av blant annet Tony Valbergs bidrag til fagterminologi for relasjonell musikkestetikk, Venke Aures redegjørelse av den relasjonell-pluralistiske og performative kunstdidaktikken og Tilde Björfors sirkusorienterte forsknings sju dimensjoner. Bjørndal og Liebergs didaktiske relasjonsmodell, Vygotskijs lære om utviklingssonene, Merleau-Pontys kroppsfenomenologi er også viktige i den teoretiske rammen, sammen med European Federation of Professional Circus Schools studier relatert til sirkusundervisning. Gjennom den konstant komparative analysemetodens åpne koding og kategorisering sammen med en temasentrert analyse synliggjøres sirkuslærernes praksis og beskrivelser. Studien har forsøkt å introdusere en relasjonell refleksiv analyse informert av studiens teoretisk-metodologiske ramme og redegjørelsen for sirkusfaget. Studien bidrar til synliggjøring og bevisstgjøring av sirkuslærernes yrkespraksis. Basert på studiens empiriske materiale i refleksiv speiling med teori, forsker og forskningsdeltagere introduseres Den relasjonelle sirkunstmanesjen, en modell for å forstå og praktisere sirkusundervisning.nb_NO
dc.description.abstractThe master thesis Circus art – circus teaching in the field of performing music and art education intends to examine how circus teachers practice their profession and how they describe their practices and their discipline. The question is: How does two circus teachers conduct their practice and how do they describe their work as teachers in the field of performing music and art education? The study is based on two circus teachers' practice in a school for performing music and art education and a private circus association and highlights the development of circus teaching as educational practice in Norway. The master's thesis is based on empirical data generated through observation of teaching, interviews, schedules and the research participants' own description of their professional practice. Based on a reflexive methodology the research participants have been closely participating throughout the process and have contributed to the study from the beginning to the submission of the thesis. The study has its origin in a socio-cultural learning perspective. The theoretical framework include Tony Valberg and his contribution to a terminology for relational music aesthetics, Venke Aure and her account of the relational pluralistic and performativity arts didactics and Tilde Björfors circus related seven dimensions identified in risk-taking, creative, artistic, educational and innovative processes. Besides this Bjørndal and Lieberg and their Didactic relational model, Vygotskijs teaching about the development zones, the bodyphenomenology of Merleau-Ponty, along with European Federation of Professional Circus Schools studies related to circus lessons are all important parts of the theoretical frame. The constant comparative method of analysis with open coding and categorization along with thematic analysis identifies the circus teachers' practices and descriptions. The study has tried to introduces an approach to a relational reflexive analysis informed by the study's theoreticalmethodological framework and the presentation of the circus art. The study contributes to articulation and reflection awareness of circus teachers' professional practice. Based on empirical material in reflexive dialogue with theory, research and research participants the study introduces the Relational circus art ring, a model for understanding and practicing circus education.nb_NO
