dc.description.abstract | MicroRNA are small non-coding RNA molecules that execute post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression for over half of human and mammalian genes. This report investigates shortreads (11-15 nucleotides) that align to start or end of mi- croRNAs. Their expression and correlation to miRNA grouped by length of half-lives. An attempt was made to implement a processing pipeline for this type of analysis - Shores . Shores is described and discussed in the report and is used for all the analysis on shortreads. | |
