| dc.description.abstract | In this thesis I will benchmark NTNUs cluster "Clustis 3" and "Numascale", two of IDI NTNUs super computers using the heat equation as a workload. The workload will be changed in size to see how the performance changes. The workload will also be run with different border thicknesses to change how it acts and how that affect the performance on the different computers. Discussion on how to interpret results and optimize node and process layouts can also be found. | |
