Using energy simulation software this report studies a typical Norwegian commercial buildings thermal energy loss. The buildings energy use is simulated and analyzed using SIMIEN, for four levels of thermal resistance in the building envelope. Resulting savings in electricity bills is calculated. Alternative wall-, floor- and roofing solutions with state-of-the-art insulation materials will be chosen based on U-values, prices and availability on the Norwegian market. A conclusion on the most profitable energy saving measure will be made based on these findings.nb_NO
