Pile driving affects significantly the surrounding soil and modifies its properties. One of the consequences is that pore pressure develops and provokes a reduction of the undrained shear strength. The excess pore pressure development around the pile during driving had studied from the literature survey. The driving pore pressure measurement from the Øvre Sund bridge project,Drammen,Norway was analyzed and compared with the theory and with the results from previous investigations. The excess pore development has described with the cavity expansion theory.Numerical analysis has also performed to show the effects of driving on clay and stability of slope. LE method using GeoSuite Stability, SLIDE and FEM method Plaxis was used.nb_NO
