Studentavis ved Høgskolen i Gjøvik

Abstract

NORSK: Problemstillingen til rapporten er: «Er studentavisen ved Høgskolen i Gjøvik, Fiber, tilpasset en ny tid med nye forventinger og krav om form, innhold og distribusjonsmetoder. Vi vil med bakgrunn i denne forskningen utvikle et konsept til en studentavis ved HiG som tilfredsstiller de krav som stilles moderne medier, samt tjener studentene.» I denne oppgaven har vi tatt for oss den nåværende studentavisen ved Høgskolen i Gjøvik, studentavisen FIBER. Engasjementet rundt studentavisen FIBER er lavt, og de har lave lesertall. Oppgaven vår har vært å bevise at studentavisen FIBER ikke går så bra som den har potensiale til, og komme med idéer og forslag til endringer som kan gjøres for å øke engasjement og lesertall.

ENGLISH: The main research question for this thesis is: «Is the student newspaper at the Gjøvik University College, Fiber, adapted to a new age with new expectations and requirements to form, content and distribution methods. We will, based on this research, develop a concept to a student newspaper at Gjøvik University College that meets the requirements of modern media, and serve the students»

In this thesis we have covered the current student newspaper at the Gjøvik University College, the student newspaper FIBER. The involvement in the student newspaper FIBER is low, and they have low readership. Our task has been to prove that the student newspaper FIBER is not working as well as it has the potential to, and come with ideas and suggestions for changes that could be made to increase engagement and readership.
