Bruk av BIM ved rehabilitering av bygg

Abstract

NORSK: De siste årene har bruken bygningsinformasjonsmodellering(BIM) blitt mer utbredt og bransjen ser verdien av å ta det i bruk. Bruken av BIM på eksisterende bygg i forbindelse med rehabilitering har derimot vært mer tilbakeholdent. Entreprenørene er forsiktige med å bruke BIM fullt ut i deres rehabiliteringsprosjekter. Statsbygg, som en statlig byggherre, har tatt initiativet til å ta i bruk BIM i flere rehabiliteringsprosjekter. Målet med oppgaven er å øke kunnskapen om emnet, se på utfordringene ved bruk av BIM i rehabilitering og vurdere om det er hensiktsmessig å ta det i bruk. Informasjonsinnhenting er gjort ved litteraturlesing, intervjuer og casestudie. Oppgaven omhandler generell teori om BIM, samt entreprenørens og byggherrens synspunkter på bruk av BIM i rehabilitering.

ENGELSK: In recent years the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) has become more prevalent and industry recognizes the value of using it. The use of BIM on existing buildings for rehabilitation, however, has been more restrained. Contractors are wary of using BIM in rehabilitation. Statsbygg, as a government builder, has taken the initiative to adopt BIM for several renovation projects. The aim is to increase knowledge on the subject, look at the challenges of using BIM in rehabilitation and consider whether it is appropriate to bring it into use. Information gathering is done by interviews, a case study and reading literature. The report deals with general theory of BIM, as well as the contractors’ and the builders’ views on the use of BIM in rehabilitation.
