This bachelor’s thesis’ goal is to analyze aesthetical and cultural differences between animation movies from the West, specifically the movie Mulan (Bancroft and Cook, 1998) by Disney from the United States and the East, specifically the movie Howl’s Moving Castle (Miyazaki, 2004) by Studio Ghibli from Japan.
