Health and well-being are fundamental aspects of life, directly impacting the quality of life. Hope is a phenomenon that significantly relates to the quality of life. The purpose of this paper is to introduce hope in the context of design for health and well-being. By exploring the intersection of design, health, and hope, we can create outcomes that are not only functional and address immediate needs but also increase resilience and foster a sense of optimism and empowerment to users and communities. We provide reflections on how this elevation in design can cultivate strengthened communities through improved healthcare interventions.en_US
