This thesis takes a look at a selection of fan fiction and fanart in order to analyze what fannish content creation can create of representation within transmedial storyuniverses. Using Klastrup and Toscas (2020) mixed method, I have looked at how transmediality opens the possibility of several interpretations of the same character. The mothodology consists of a textual analysis, which maps the storyworlds "worldness" through comparative analysis, and a responsanalysis, analysing the possibilities of interpretation through the fan-texts. The essay shows how tendencies and hegemonies that have previously been prominent within Comicsgate and Gamergate, still very much is prominent within our current fanculture. However, despite the occurring rifts within the fandom, these interpretations create safe spaces where representation of oppressed and marginalized identities can flourish.
