Prosjektering av energibesparende tiltak for Spilkas fabrikkbygg på Emblem
Abstract
This thesis deals with the energy consumption of Spilka’s factory building at Emblem, ˚Alesund.Various measures were investigated that could reduce the amount of power the factory needs tobuy from the local power grid.
The working method is discussed, and the results are presented from an energy saving perspective, in addition to a cost effectiveness perspective. The meassures that was investigated were:installation of a ground source heat pump, additional insulation, sealing of doors and solar powergeneration. Payback period and financial profit are calculated using net present value.
Finally, the text concludes by pointing to energy solutions that will yield a profit and the greatestenergy savings. Measures that are economically beneficial are, in order from shortest to longestrepayment period, installation of plastic slats, installation of a buffer zone, installation of aheat pump, and installation of solar cells on the roof and wall. The three most energy-savingsolutions are solar cells on the roof, installation of a heat pump, and subsequent insulation ofthe building.
