Bevaring av verneverdige bygninger

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgaven skal se nærmere på bevaring av verneverdige bygninger. Oppgaven undersøker hvordan bevaring av verneverdige bygninger kan bidra til bærekraft i klimaproblematikken og som historisk kilde til samfunnet. Bygningene som blir drøftet i oppgaven er Jugenddronninga i Elgsetergate 30B og Britannia hotel. Intervju av Trøndelag fylkeskommune angående byggene og deres rolle knyttet til forvaltning er viktige element i oppgaven. Det å undersøke ulike verneverdige bygninger og se på hvordan bevaring kan bidra til en positiv utvikling for samfunnet er tema som blir diskutert. Klimautfordringene og klimaavtrykket i dag er stort og mulighetene for å redusere utslipp av klimagasser er mange. Dermed kan bevaringen av verneverdige bygninger spille en viktig rolle i det grønne skiftet. Samtidig er byutviklingen preget av mange nye oppføringer av bygg som er negativt for klima. Dermed blir jugenddronninga i Elgsetergate og Britannia hotel viktige element i teksten for å belyse hvordan forvaltningen og utviklingen av disse er i dag.

This bachelor's thesis will take a closer look at the preservation of conservation worthy buildings. The assignment examines how the conservation of these buildings can contribute to sustainability in the climate problem and as a historical source for society. The buildings that are discussed in the thesis are the Jugendronninga in Elgsetergate 30B and the Britannia hotel. Interview of Trøndelag fylkeskommune regarding the buildings and their role in relation to management is an important element of the assignment. Examining various conserved buildings and looking at how conservation can contribute to a positive development for society, is a topic that will be discussed. The climate challenges and the climate footprint of today are large, and the opportunities to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases are many. Thus, the preservation of conservation worthy buildings can play an important role in the green shift. At the same time, urban development is characterized by many new constructions of buildings that are negative for the climate. Thus Jugenddronninga in Elgsetergate and the Britannia hotel will become an important element in the text to look at how the management and development of these are today.
