Venus og estetikk i kunsthistorien

Abstract

I denne oppgaven vil jeg undersøke hvordan fremstillingen av Venus har endret seg oppgjennom historien og kan denne endringen være en følge av endringene innenfor estetikk? Oppgaven vil inkludere litt bakgrunns informasjon om estetikk, kunsthistoriske epoker som er relevante for oppgaven og analyser av flere verk som kan assosieres med Venus motivet.

In this bachelor thesis I will explore how the representation of Venus has changed throughout history and is this change a consequence of the changes in aesthetics theory? The thesis will include some background information about aesthetics, historical art periods that are relevant to the thesis and analyzes of several works that can be associated with the Venus motif.
