This work discusses the representation theory of Artin algebras with a focus on the almost split sequences. First, we introduce the Nakayama algebras, Auslander algebras and Auslander-Reiten quivers. Second, we examine the representation finite gradings of a finite tree. We introduce the tree $\Ddot{D_n}$ and calculate the representation finite gradings of the trees $\Ddot{D_5}$ and $D_6$. Finally, we introduce the Nakayama finite gradings of a finite tree. We give the general formula for the number of the Nakayama finite gradings of the trees $\Ddot{D_n}$ and $D_n$.
