| dc.description.abstract | Temaet for denne oppgaven er Twitter sin rolle i Donald Trump sin spredning av falske nyheter. Oppgaven undersøker hvordan falske nyheter kan knyttes opp mot begreper som filterboble, ekkokammer og gruppepolarisering med bruk av Trump sin Twitter-aktivitet og konsekvenser av denne som eksempel. Gjennom en kvalitativ innholdsanalyse vil oppgaven også undersøke hvordan Twitter både har muliggjort og hindret spredning av misinformasjon på sin plattform. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The theme for this bachelor thesis is Twitter’s role in Donald Trump’s spread of fake news. The dissertation examines how fake news can be connected to terms like filterbubble, echochamber and group polarization with a use of Trump’s activity on Twitter and consequences of this as an example. Through a qualitative content analysis this bachelor thesis will also examine how Twitter both have enabled and hindered the spread of disinformation on their platform. | |
