FØRSTE KORSTOG: DRIVKRAFT OG MOTIVASJON TIL DE FORSKJELLIGE SOSIALE GRUPPENE

Abstract

Bacheloroppgaven skal sette søkelys på hva som motiverte korsfareren og hvilke utfordringer de sto over. Den handler om deltakeren innenfor det første korstoget. Det fokuserer på hvordan det Første korstoget startet, og hvilken endring den hadde på krigføring med Urban den II sin tale i Clermount. Hans tale gikk ut på å sende hjelp til den bysantiske riket og å redde de kristne som led under muslimsk styre I Jerusalem. Hans budskap var ment til adelen og de kampdyktige, men på grunn av de geistlige entusiasme og rekruttering så ble lekfolket ivrig revet med og dro også på denne pilegrimsreisen som ble en militærkampanje. Hvem ble med på korstoget og hva ble de motivert av. Den følger korstoget helt frem til Antiokia hvor korstoget oppnår den største endring innenfor motivasjon og drivkraft.

The bachelor is going to focus on what motivated the crusaders and what challenges they face on their travel. It is about the people who participated in the first crusade. Its focus is on how the first crusade started and what kind of effect it had on warfare with Urban II speech in Clermont. His speech was about sending help to the Byzantine empire and save the Christians that suffered under muslin rule in Jerusalem. His message was meant for the princes and the battle-hardened, but because of high enthusiasm among the clergy and recruiting, the laypeople got eager and captivated which they too went on the pilgrimage which ended up as a military campaign. Who joined the crusade and what were they motivated by. It follows the first crusade all the way to Antioch, where the crusade reaches its final change with motivation and driving force.
