Abstract
This thesis looks at Norway’s opportunities and difficulties in expanding Norwegian green energy and cutting greenhouse gases. As part of this, the thesis will examine what energy-production Norway already possess, and what green energy it might be able to create in the future. It will also look at Norway as a producer of oil, and the strange position this puts the otherwise almost fully renewably powered Norway. It will look at the opportunities that Norway possess in increasing its creation of renewable energy and the difficulties in increasing it.
