Proposed object-oriented approach and general architecture of intellectual software for mathematical modelling of dynamic ener-gy systems. Introduced and considered in detail an architecture of knowledge bases for modelling of systems described by linear in-tegral equations. Considered a knowledge-based system as a com-position of a specific functional network and an expert system.

System, methods and credible data for calculating primary energy efficiency for energy systems with special focus on energy systems applying CHP-technology with bio based fuel
Berner, Monica (Doktoravhandlinger ved NTNU, 1503-8181; 2014:112, Doctoral thesis, 2014)During the last few decades, reduced energy consumption, increased energy efficiency and utilization of renewable energy have gained interest while different energy efficient energy conversion technologies have matured. ... -
Time-varying dependency in European energy markets: an analysis of Nord Pool, European Energy Exchange and Intercontinental Exchange energy commodities
Veka, Steinar; Lien, Gudbrand; Westgaard, Sjur; Higgs, Helen (Journal article; Peer reviewed, 2012)In this paper we investigate the extent to which the price of Nordic electricity derivatives correlates with European Energy Exchange (EEX) and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) electricity contracts. We also include their ... -
A comparative study of different methods for predicting the long-term extreme structural responses of the combined wind and wave energy concept semisubmersible wind energy and flap-type wave energy converter
Li, Qinyuan; Michailides, Constantine; Gao, Zhen; Moan, Torgeir (Journal article; Peer reviewed, 2018)The combined wind and wave concept semisubmersible wind energy and flap-type wave energy converter was developed in the EU FP7 project MARINA Platform. It consists of a four-column semisubmersible with a 5-MW wind turbine ...
