This paper presents an impedance modeling and small-signal stability analysis of the grid-tied Universal Droop Control (UDC) inverter. The -impedance model of the UDC inverter is derived analytically and, which is verified by simulation. The impedance model is used to determine the stability of the grid-tied UDC inverter. Simulation and experimental results are provided to further verify the theoretical analysis.
