Hydrogen Induced Stress Cracking Resistance of Nickel Alloy ATI 830
Abstract
The following activities shall be included in the project:
ATI 8301. Document microstructure and mechanical properties for the received alloy.2. Execute the test program given in Attachment 1.3. Execute a literature review to document state-of-the-art for HE resistance for the alloy with focus on HISC.4. Document and analyse test results and samples after exposure (including hydrogen measurements).5. Prepare the MSc report.
25%Cr super duplex stainless steel1. Finish the characterisation of fracture surfaces including SEM/EDS and optical microscope.2. Execute hydrogen measurements of fractured samples.3. Update specialisation report with additional information.4. Prepare publication of results (draft).
