| dc.description.abstract | Denne studien omhandler misoppfatninger i brøk. Problemstillingen min er: Hvilke misoppfatninger har elever i 6. klasse i Zambia i brøk? For å svare på denne problemstillingen har jeg valgt å belyse den av teori som referer til blant annet Gard Brekke, Alistair McIntosh og Ida Heiberg Solem. Teorien tar for seg brøk begrepet, misoppfatninger og didaktiske oppgaver. For å undersøke temaet har jeg brukt kvalitativ forskningstilnærming. Det ble intervjuet noen elever i Zambia, i tillegg til at de gjorde noen oppgaver. Det ble her gitt ut noen diagnostiske oppgaver, for å avdekke misoppfatninger. Dette ble gjort i min praksisperiode på 5 uker i Zambia. Det ble gjort flere undersøkelser i løpet av den perioden. Deretter ble oppgavene og intervjuet analysert og drøftet. Det ble avdekket at elevene hadde flere misoppfatninger, blant annet med tanke på brøkens verdi og helhet. I tillegg så jeg på eventuelle feilkilder med tanke på forskjeller på blant annet vaner og språkforskjeller. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study deals with misconceptions in fractions. My problem is: What misconceptions do pupils in grade 6 in Zambia have in fractions? To answer this issue I have chosen to shed light on the theory that refers to, among others, Gard Brekke, Alistair McIntosh and Ida Heiberg Solem. The theory deals with the fraction concept, misconceptions and didactic tasks. To investigate the topic, I have used a qualitative research approach. Some students were interviewed in Zambia, as well as doing some tasks. Some diagnostic tasks were released here to reveal misconceptions. This was done during my 5 week practice period in Zambia. Several surveys were made during that period. Then the tasks and the interview were analyzed and discussed. It was revealed that the pupils had more misconceptions, among other things in view of the value and the whole of the fraction. In addition, I looked at any sources of error with regard to differences in, among other things, habits and language differences. | |
