dc.description.abstract | The aim of this thesis has been to reduce the consultation cost in the AEC-industry related to BIM-based building energy modeling, with the intended impact to reduce the threshold utilizing BEM in early design phase and consequently stimulate for more effective design of high quality green buildings. This has been achieved through case studies investigating a selection of BIM-based BEM interoperability issues between the BIM design software Autodesk Revit and the BEM analysis software IDA ICE. | |
