dc.description.abstract | In this Thesis we look at different techniques for predicting job running timein a Grid environment. We develop a system based on Case Based Reasoningcalled PREDATOR which is evaluated and compared to a simple approach witchinvolves computing a average of the running time of a group of similar jobs. The system is developed in the context of a special software package fordistributed computing ILCDIRAC (based on DIRAC). | nb_NO |
