dc.description.abstractIn this thesis both a raman spectrometer and a dispersion measurement setup for fibers was designed, built and automatized. Furthermore several nonlinear phenomena were researched and with two different approaches simulated. A finalized fiber laser was in addition improved and a package for it designed.
