Respondentene for denne
Her
ENGLISH: Motivation was a theme that all participants of the group thought was interesting as this was
lectured on the subject of Leadership and Organizational Psychology. It was desirable to work
with a large company that had many employees, and possibly was doing a little monotonous work.
It was partnered with Ahlsell on Nordkisa, a wholesaler of plumbing, VA, electrical, safety
equipment, tools and machinery. The purpose of the study was to find out what affects employee
motivation and whether there was found some room for improvement. It was used a quantitative
method in the form of a questionnaire to answer this. Respondents for this survey consisted of
those who were employed in the production, which in total amounted to 120 employees. Out of
these 120, there were 99 who responded to the survey.
The results showed that Ahlsell mostly seems to be a motivating business to work in, when they
meet most of the areas that were researched. In the discussion, the results were analyzed and
discussed, and it was found some factors that proved to be an improvement. These factors are
about feedback, quality goals and job training for Ahlsell. It also emerged that Ahlsell should
continue to facilitate intrinsic motivation, as this is the best and most persistent form of
motivation.
